Being recognised for both professional excellence and community impact made this year’s Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce Business Awards especially memorable for amb Insurance Services, which was named Professional Services of the Year, sponsored by Plinkfizz, before later being announced as a joint winner of Responsible Business of the Year.
The Staffordshire-based firm is the county’s only independent Chartered Insurance Broker, providing advice-led insurance solutions for SMEs and mid-corporate businesses. For more than 25 years, amb has built its reputation on personal service, helping clients protect and grow their businesses through tailored advice rather than one-size-fits-all insurance products.
Mark Jones, Sales and Partnerships Director, said: “We’ve been around for over 25 years, being a well-kept secret. These awards give us public recognition for the great work our team have been doing for a number of years.
“It’s particularly rewarding that the two things that we are really passionate about, our professionalism and our commitment to the community, have both been recognised.
“The togetherness of the team is the jewel in the crown for me. It’s hard to express how special it is to see team members step up to help clients grow their business, and for them to do extraordinary things for the local community.
“We really want to build on our success and help more and more businesses grow while continuing to support our local community. We are now privileged to be Patrons of the Chamber and will use this platform to educate and help more Staffordshire businesses.”
Alongside supporting businesses across the county, the company continues to invest in its people and local communities. Recent milestones include directors Andrew Barrow and Mark Jones taking board roles with The Peter Pan Centre and Newcastle Town Football Club respectively, while a new podcast aims to shine a light on local businesses, the insurance sector and the communities the team is proud to support.
amb Insurance Services was selected ahead of fellow finalists Currie Young, Environmental Essentials and Qualsurv.
