About Us
We are not a call centre. We are a traditional commercial insurance broker, where long term relationships, exceptional service and expertise are paramount. We believe in working closely with our clients to understand their business which enables us to make sure our clients are properly covered at all times.
As no two clients are the same, so no two insurance needs are. That’s why all our clients have a designated member of staff who will be their point of contact for all queries. We don’t compartmentalise different aspects of our service. If our client needs a new policy, makes an adjustment, renews their insurance or most importantly, has a claim, they will speak to the same account executive. We believe this sets us apart from others and allows our account executives to build up an unparalleled knowledge of a client’s business. Everyone want to speak to someone who knows and understand their business; not three, four or five different departments for each query.
It also allows us to gain a better understanding of our clients’ business and take a pro-active approach to their risk management, which can lead to reduced premiums. We have remained a truly independent broker while many in the profession are now owned by insurers, national brokers or are part of tied networks. This enables us to offer completely independent advice with no other interested parties behind the scenes. It also allows us to access to the composite insurers (Aviva, AXA, Zurich, Ageas, MMA, NIG, RSA etc) as well as the Lloyds market. We work hard to build up strong relationships with insurers so we can negotiate the best terms and premiums on our client’s behalf.
We take our corporate social responsibility seriously and we are passionate about AMB Insurance having a positive impact for both our employees and our community. We put all employees through qualifications suited to their role and their future aspirations ensuring personal development for them, and greater expertise for our clients. We nominate a charity each year to be the recipient of any charitable donations and events and support other local causes wherever we can. We believe that we have a responsibility to give back to the people who make us what we are, and to the community in which we operate.

We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority and our compliance officer is on hand can deal with any queries regarding regulation. We are active members of BIBA (British Insurance Brokers Association) and the local business community including the Chamber of Commerce and BNI.
