We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual looking for a challenge in an Account Handler role expanding the commercial business and servicing an existing client base. The role is offered full time, permanent and working office hours Monday to Friday 9-5:00.
The successful candidate will be responsible for arranging commercial insurance policies for customers and generating revenue by servicing accounts and managing existing client relationships and will be responsible for a wide range of insurances including Motor Fleet, Motor Trade, Commercial Fleet, Liability, Shop and Office packages and Property Owners and it is therefore essential you can prove your knowledge and experience in these areas.
The successful candidate must have commercial insurance experience gained within the insurance industry in a similar Account Handling role and ideally be Cert CII qualified and have ambitions to further their professional studies.
You must have experience of dealing with insurance clients and undertaking duties including renewals, midterm adjustments, up and cross selling new business. In addition it is desirable that you have practical experience of Open GI.
This role requires a candidate who is highly motivated with the ability to work to high business standards and within FCA guidelines at all times. In return the role will provide you with variety, a competitive salary dependent on skills and experience and the opportunity to work in a friendly and professional office.
